Antonio Vassallo (PI)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am an associate professor at the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences. I am a member of the International Center for Formal Ontology, where I coordinate the Philosophy of Physics research group. I hold a M.Sc. in physics from the University of Catania, and a Ph.D. in philosophy from the Universities of Lausanne and Warsaw. My research has so far dealt with the metaphysical issues related to spacetime in general relativity and quantum gravity, and the debate regarding the interpretations of quantum theory (with a special focus on the primitive ontology approach to quantum physics). Lorenzo Cocco (Research Assistant)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences.  I have a PhD in philosophy from the University of Geneva, where I wrote a dissertation on “Field’s Program” under the supervision of Chris W\u00fcthrich and Vincent Lam. My work has primarily focused on the philosophy of physics and mathematics. I am interested in investigating metaphysical questions about what reality is fundamentally like by analysing our best physical theories with conceptual analysis and the formal tools of mathematical logic. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Tim Koslowski (External Collaborator)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am a lecturer at the Technical University of Applied Sciences W\u00fcrzburg-Schweinfurt. I obtained my master’s degree in mathematical physics from the University of Texas at Austin and earned both my Diplom in physics and my Ph.D. from the University of W\u00fcrzburg. I held postdoctoral positions at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics and the University of New Brunswick and previously held a faculty position at the Universidad Nacional Aut\u00f3noma de M\u00e9xico. My research focuses on the foundations of physics, particularly quantum gravity.
